The 26-year-old Siddhesh Lad has scored heavily in first-class cricket. From 49 matches, Lad has scored 3592 runs including 8 hundreds.Mumbai Indians Director of Cricket Operations Zaheer Khan on Friday stated that the team will assess Rohit’s condition after practice but he is available for selection. Rohit also batted for some time at the nets at the Wankhede Stadium.”He is definitely available, available for selection and he is very confident, so that is a very positive sign right now for us. He is going to practice and get a better gauge of things, but we are pretty confident (of him playing),” Zaheer Khan said.On Tuesday, Rohit Sharma gave Mumbai Indians and India a major injury scare when he limped out of MI’s practice session.
